Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, who goes by the name of Kennedy in popular culture, once revealed a betting story with Michael Jordan.

Kennedy has recently gotten her Fox Business Network show back on TV. Her 9 PM show was taken off air in March 2020 with the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Kennedy first made her name as a broadcaster with MTV, a stint that saw her take the VJ avatar. Michael Jordan was at the peak of his powers when she was barely taking her first steps in journalism.
Jordan has a well-known weakness for gambling, and he’s got countless tales of lost bets and reparations. Former Celtics All-Star Antoine Walker recently revealed how he was down $900k while playing 36 straight hours of spades with MJ.
Kennedy has her own gambling tale with the Bulls legend – one that she told all about back in 2013.

In an interview with HuffPost Live, the topic eventually veered to this rumor linking her to MJ. These are parts of a highly sporting and humorous reply from the then 41-year-old VJ. This is a story from when she was only 22 years old:
“Michael Jordan and I were playing dice in a very trendy bar in Manhattan. And I was losing a little bit. I was worried that I was going to have to give him a little money.”
“Michael Jordan said ‘Baby’, and that moment I would have latched on to him like a chihuahua in heat (jokingly).”
“But he said ‘Baby, if I win, you’re going to come with me to my hotel room.’ But if you win, you’re going to have Nets tickets. So I got Nets tickets.”
There is every chance that Jordan was merely talking trash while winning a gambling game. But we won’t know for sure until MJ himself can verify this. Either way, Kennedy continued to go by the nickname of ‘Virgin Kennedy’ at her workplace till an unknown time in the future.
