“I’d take Kevin Durant and Kyrie over LeBron James and AD”: Skip Bayless mocks Lakers stars for not having clutch gene like their Nets counterparts
Skip Bayless made yet another bold claim on the latest episode of Undisputed, picking Kevin Durant over LeBron James.
The Brooklyn duo took over yesterday when they went ballistic and scored a combined 33 points in the last quarter alone. The Brooklyn Nets eventually took the W, as they beat the Atlanta Hawks 145-141 in the thriller of a match.
Kevin Durant finished with a game-high 33 points, 16 of which he scored in the 4th quarter alone. Kyrie Irving was having a rough day, shooting 0/7 from the deep to start the game, but he ended with 25 points, 17 coming in the 4th quarter.
The Brooklyn heroics did not go unnoticed. Skip Bayless acknowledged the epic performance by the duo, and used it as a chance once again to draw a comparison with LeBron James.
“KD and Kyrie both have that 4th quarter takeover gene”: Skip Bayless
In the latest episode of Undisputed, Skip Bayless acknowledges the performances of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant against the Hawks. He uses their performances in the few games and draws a calls them better than the Lakers’ duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
According to Skip the Brooklyn duo has the clutch gene and can perform at the highest levels of competition while keeping calm and staying clutch.
KD and Kyrie both have that 4th quarter takeover gene in them. They have proven at the highest level in NBA Finals they can close big games. More @Undisputed, now on FS1 https://t.co/KpMgwU34nV

Skip commented about yet another factor in which he finds KD better than LBJ. KD is a career 88% free throw shooter, whereas LeBron James has had a career average of 73%.
In the 4th quarter alone, KD managed to convert all 9 of free throws, which definitely helped the Nets pull of this W. Skip says KD is a better charity stripe shooter, and that is an important attribute for a player to be the best.
The Brooklyn Nets take the floor again tonight, as they face the Atlanta Hawks for their second matchup of the season.
