“If Giannis Antetokounmpo wins the championship and Finals MVP, he’ll dethrone LeBron James and Kevin Durant”: Kendrick Perkins has yet another hot-take regarding the Bucks’ superstar
ESPN Analyst Kendrick Perkins has yet another hot-take regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo, says he can be placed above Kevin Durant and LeBron James
Giannis Antetokounmpo and his Bucks evened up the series at 2 apiece in Milwaukee tonight. After the two losses in Phoenix, the Bucks registered two much-needed wins. It was a close contest all throughout, with the Bucks edging out a win in the final minutes. The final score was 109-103 Bucks.
Khris Middleton stepped up big tonight, as he led the team with his 40 points and 6 rebounds. Giannis played his natural game and finished with 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists. Apart from being efficient on the offensive end, the Bucks stepped up their defense as well. Despite Devin Booker scoring a game-high 42 points, the Bucks held on to win the game. They never let any other Suns’ player find a rhythm and forced turnovers.
Kendrick Perkins has yet another hot-take involving Giannis Antetokounmpo
From calling Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘Robin’, to calling him the ‘most dominant player’, we have seen Kendrick Perkins flip-flop a lot recently. However, he seems to be sticking with his narrative about Giannis and his dominance, for the time being. In fact, he even added to it, and went as far as to say that if Giannis wins the ring and the Finals MVP this season, he can dethrone LeBron James and Kevin Durant.
“If Giannis takes it to another level and wins this championship, and wins Finals MVP, then I think we ought to give him the credit as being the best player in the game of basketball. Dethrone LeBron James, Kevin Durant and whoever else.”

While getting a championship, and a Finals MVP would bolster an already impressive resume, it’s too soon to say that Giannis can replace LBJ and KD just yet. The two have been in the league for a long time, and have proven their mettle.
The Bucks, after having tied this up in Milwaukee, head back to Pheonix, where they play Game 5 on Saturday.
