Is Andrew Wiggins Playing Tonight vs Kings? Warriors Release Update About Klay Thompson’s Back

The Golden State Warriors make their way to Sacramento tonight to take on the Kings. The Warriors squeezed a win over the Thunder at home, but it’s these two final games that decide where they end up. Getting Andrew Wiggins back with the team was a huge boost, but Klay Thompson scared the whole fanbase with a back issue.

While they might have won against the Thunder, their real test starts tonight, as they visit their North Cal neighbors. The Kings have locked themselves a playoff berth, as well as the Pacific Division Title. On the other hand, the Warriors can end up anywhere from the 5th seed to the 8th seed.

Tonight’s game is a must-win for the defending champions, and the team knows it. So do the fans. They all are wondering about the status of the team’s stars.

Warriors release an update on Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson

The Warriors fans can breathe a sigh of relief. There is nothing serious about Klay Thompson’s back, and he is expected to suit up with the team tonight.

At the same time, Andrew Wiggins is working his way back to playing with the team. He practiced with the team and the Warriors are looking to ramp him back to speed.

However, they did inform us that Wiggins will not play with the team for the final two regular season games.

Hopefully, Wigs is good to go at the start of the playoffs. Even though he isn’t suiting up with the team, the impact he brings by just being there is clearly visible.
