While many believed that the 8-time All-Star suffered a concussion, AD appeared to be fine as he walked to the team bus after the game’s conclusion. During Darvin Ham’s chat with the media on Thursday, the head coach for LAL gave an encouraging update on Anthony’s health. Disclosing that the 30-year-old didn’t have a concussion. ClutchPoints’ Michael Corvo further reported what Ham said:

“We checked in with him. He’s feeling great. Our medical staff gave us a great update. He’s not in the protocol. Not showing any signs of anything. He’ll be listed as probable tomorrow … That was great, great news.”

While the 4-time All-NBA player is not in any protocols, the California-based franchise has mentioned his name in the team’s injury report. However, the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team member is listed with the right foot stress injury he’s been dealing with for the past few weeks and not the recent head injury.

This is great news for the Lakers. As reported by TNT’s Chris Haynes, Anthony Davis will be expected to play Game 6, without any sort of restriction.

Behind the leadership of the All-Star duo of LBJ and Davis, keeping their perfect 5-0 home record in the 2023 postseason in mind, it will be difficult for Stee Kerr’s boys to even up the series at 3 games apiece.
