Is Giannis Antetokounmpo Playing Tonight vs Heat? Bucks Release 2x MVP’s Injury Update Ahead of ‘Do or Die’ Game 5
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are in real trouble in the first round of the Playoffs just after finishing the regular season with the best record in the NBA.
They are 3-1 down to Jimmy Butler’s Miami Heat, who have made the best out of the Greek international’s problems with his back injury that occurred in the 1st quarter of the very first game of the series and kept him out for almost three out of four games.
Will he be playing tonight’s game though, as the Bucks face Elimination in Game 5 in Milwaukee?
Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight against the Miami Heat?
The Milwaukee Bucks came up with their injury update for Game 5 pretty early, and there is only one name in it, which none of the Bucks fans would want to see, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak is there as ‘probable’ due to lower back contusion.
The Bucks’ latest injury report for Game 5:
Giannis (back)- Probable
Wesley Matthews (strained calf) is no longer listed.

However, you cannot expect him to sit out and watch his team get eliminated in the first round. Do expect him to play and don’t miss out on the action of Game 5 which would be on air at 9.30 pm tonight, from the Fiserv Forum.
Can the Bucks make a comeback?
If you are asking me the team with the league’s best record in the season, can come back from a 2-game deficit against a Play-in team? Duh!
But, then not to forget, that #7 seed team is led by Jimmy Buckets. Winning 3-straight against that guy even if his team is also short of a few key players, is as tough as it gets.
And especially after a game he just had. The man led his side with 56 points to make a 12-point comeback from an 89-101 scoreline, and just over 6 minutes remaining in the final quarter to win the game 119-114.
