Is Jayson Tatum Playing Tonight vs Magic? Celtics Release Availability Update for 3x All-Star
The Boston Celtics are on a roll this season. They are easily the best team in the league at the moment and their record speaks for themselves. Their consistency over the last two seasons should be alarming for the league. Especially because this is the team that went through a turbulent off-season.
But, it almost seems as if Ime Udoka’s cheating scandal and eventual sacking had no effect on this squad. Instead, they look even better now. Perhaps the change is due to Jayson Tatum and his evolution. The 6ft 8″ guard is now performing at the highest level and is undeniably an MVP contender.
As the team prepares for its upcoming matchup against the Orlando Magic, Boston fans are hoping to see their star. Fortunately, Jayson Tatum, who missed the last game, is not on the team’s official injury report.
Jayson Tatum will suit up against the Orlando Magic
Boston’s official injury report does not mention their 3-time All-Star Tatum. This means he is confirmed as a starter for the upcoming game. This also means that Tatum‘s sore wrist is not troubling him anymore.
Jayson Tatum says he’s dealing with issues with a few of his fingers & wrist. Will he need to consider sitting out at some point?

Boston is lucky because his presence will be much needed for Boston considering Marcus Smart is ruled out and Robert Williams is questionable for tonight.
With Jayson being the team’s top scorer, Boston’s offense would not be a problem Joe Mazzulla. However, both Smart and Williams are key defenders, their absence will likely disrupt Celtics’ defense.
That being said, it’s hard to imagine a scenario where the Celts lose to Orlando tomorrow. Magic is seeded 13th in the league and is no match for the Celtics.
Tatum’s stats this season
Currently, Jayson Tatum is averaging 31.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. Moreover, JT is also averaging 3.3 three-pointers per game. If he can consistently keep his numbers up, he will definitely make a solid case for the Michael Jordan trophy.
