Is Kristaps Porzingis playing today vs Suns? Dallas Mavericks’ starting lineup gets huge injury blow
‘Is Kristaps Porzingis playing today?’- Mavericks fans have been sent into an anxious state ever since Porzinigis’ injury report has surfaced for the game vs Suns.
The Mavericks take on the Suns tonight in what is one of the most important games of the season for both sides. Suns desperately need to win in order to have even the slightest of chances of making the play-in tournament.
Mavs on the other hand want the luxury of not facing Clippers in round 1 of the playoffs and only a win tonight can give them a shot at that(they’ll also need Jazz to lose).

However, Mavs have been dealt with a serious blow in their bid to capture that 6th seed, as a worrying injury report about Kristaps Porzingis has been released.
Is Kristaps Porzingis playing today vs Suns?
Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sport has confirmed that Kristaps Porzingis won’t be playing today vs Suns due to a left heel contusion. The news comes a massive shock to Mavericks’ late surge to get that 6th seed. However, Suns fans would be ecstatic, as they now have an even better chance of sneaking into the playoffs.

With the Mavs already in the playoffs, the rest for Porzingis could also be precautionary. While they do have a chance to clinch that 6th seed, they wouldnt’ want to risk Porzingis missing the entire 1st round due to an aggravated heal injury.
The next time we get to see the Latvian star is probably in the playoffs. The Mavs star is averaging 30.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in his six games from Orlando including four 30-point performances.
