Is LeBron James Playing Tonight vs Clippers? Lakers Release Injury Report for the #2 All-Time Scorer

The Los Angeles Lakers return home after a short one-game trip to Portland. Facing the Trailblazers, LeBron James and his team pulled off a victory that no one could have predicted. Down 25 points at the half, the Lakers managed to scratch and claw their way to a 121-112 win.

LeBron led the charge with 37 points. Thomas Bryant scored 31 points and Dennis Schroder added another 24.

This win not only helped the Lakers improve to 22 wins for the season, but also to take the 12th seed from the Blazers.

As the Lakers head back home, they would be happy with their recent wins, and would look to face the Clippers in the Battle of Los Angeles. However, fans wonder whether LeBron James will suit up tonight or not.

LeBron James is listed as questionable for tonight

Last night, the Lakers beat everyone to the races and acquired Rui Hachimura from the Washington Wizards. It is a big move on their part and shows that they haven’t given up playoff hopes this year.

However, processing him and clearing team medicals means that he won’t be available for the game against the Clippers. On top of that, the Lakers might have to play tonight without LeBron James.

On the team’s latest injury report, the King is listed as questionable due to ankle soreness.

Bron has been listed as questionable with ankle soreness almost every other game for the Lakers. The fans shouldn’t be too disappointed as he’s very likely to suit up for the game.

If he plays tonight, he is expected to keep up with the timeline for breaking Kareem’s scoring record on February 7th.
