“Bronny James Can Go to Any College He Wants!”: LeBron James Quotes Blatant Nepotism, Names Top Future Destination

LeBron James is one of the most successful athletes in the world. The 38-year-old Lakers superstar is a global name and has managed to accomplish a lot, not only on the court, but also off of it. Starting from nothing, LeBron is now a self-made Billionaire. He has two sons, Bronny James and Bryce Maximus, and a daughter, Zhuri James.

His son Bronny, ever since he was born, was subjected to the pressures of being the child of one of the greatest basketball players. A high school athlete himself, Bronny has evolved into one of the top talents in the nation.

Currently ranked at 34 nationwide, Bronny has several college offers up his sleeve. However, he hasn’t committed to any of the schools yet. Bronny recently announced his Top-3 destinations, and his father, LeBron James, talked more about them.

LeBron James makes a bold statement about Bronny James and his future

When it comes to Bronny and his future, LeBron James is a very involved father. He has made several college visits with his son, and would probably be looking to live his college dream through Bronny. However, the ultimate goal is to play with Bronny in the NBA. Since he’s made the same public knowledge, a lot of schools would have been hesitant to send an offer.

As of now, Bronny has three college offers. However, in a recent talk with the Oregonian, LBJ talked about Bronny’s interest in Oregon. Talking about Oregon HC Dana Altman, Bron said,

“Dana knows,” James said. “He knows the interest. And it’s mutual.”

He then continued and issued a rather very arrogant statement.

“I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to. All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he’s good enough.”

Clearly, when you’re one of the biggest names in sports, you can say things like this and actually get away with them. However, this didn’t sit well with a lot of people.

NBA Twitter reacts to LeBron’s statement

NBA Twitter wasn’t very happy about the statement Bron made. It showed how he can abuse his money and power to go and steal opportunities from others who may not have the same resources.
