A little glimmer of hope for the Utah Jazz as Mike Conley has been upgraded to questionable for the must win game Game 6 against the Clippers. Conley is yet to feature in the second round of this season’s playoffs is out with a hamstring injury.
The experienced point guard has been a sensation for the Jazz this season. He has enjoyed a great campaign averaging 16.5 points along with 3.5 boards and 6 assists per game. He has also been shooting 41% from behind the arc and that is praiseworthy.
The veteran point guard was exceptional against the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of the playoffs. He averaged 17.4 points 3.8 rebounds and 8.6 assists in the series.
He also shot 54.8% from the three proving his worth, especially on the offense. The Jazz undoubtedly have missed the services of Mike Conley against the Clippers.
“I’ve played through a lot of things in my career and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again”: Mike Conley
Unfortunately, Conley had a setback in his return from injury. The 33-year-old was supposed to return on Game 3 against the Clippers. But he faced a setback with his hamstring and a return on Game 3 was not possible.
He has worked tirelessly and taken all precautions to get back on the court. It looks like if the Jazz force Game 7 then only we may see Conley return to the floor.
“With the way things have been progressing and obviously with the series as close as it is and as tight as it is, I think that this series is possible, depending on the situation.”
“I’ve played through a lot of things in my career and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again … if we can find a way to get a win here and there (in Game 5 and 6) it’d give me a couple more days to hopefully feel a bit better going forward,” Conley said ahead of the Game 5.

It has been very frustrating for the point guard and more so because he was playing at a high level. The Jazz desperately need his services as their star player Donovan Mitchell is also playing through pain. But for now, his availability depends on the result on Friday.
