Is Stephen Curry Playing Tonight vs the Grizzlies? Warriors Release Injury Update for 2x MVP Ahead of Christmas Day Matchup
The Golden State Warriors are back home after a humiliating Eastern Conference Road Trip. The Warriors went 1-5 on the road, and if that wasn’t bad enough, they also lost Stephen Curry to a shoulder injury. Having played their last four games without him, the Dubs went 1-3, including back-to-back blowouts against the Knicks and Nets.
Steph was having a historic season, on pace to break his 2016 record of 402 triples. He averaged 30 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.8 assists on 50-43-92 shooting splits.
In his absence, Jordan Poole has stepped up and taken on the role of the primary scorer. However, till the time Draymond Green and Klay Thompson don’t start pitching in with their veteran contributions, the Warriors will not be able to survive.
They start an eight-game homestand tonight, with the Memphis Grizzlies coming to town for the NBA Xmas Games.
Stephen Curry is OUT against the Grizzlies
Yesterday the Warriors re-evaluated Stephen Curry’s injury and issued a report for the same. They claimed that Steph was progressing well, and is set to be reevaluated in the next two weeks.

Even though that’s good news, that means that Stephen Curry would NOT be suiting up tonight.
A young and hungry Memphis team comes to town, and they would face an injury-riddled Warriors. Hungry to avenge the 2nd round loss, the Grizzlies would find themselves playing a Dubs side without Steph, Andrew Wiggins, and possibly Draymond Green.
Andrew Wiggins remains out and Draymond Green is questionable with right foot soreness on Warriors’ official injury report vs Grizzlies on Christmas. Donte DiVincenzo will return.

We’ll have to see if the Dubs can pull a Christmas miracle tonight, or if this would be yet another beatdown.
