“It depends whether Klay Thompson wanted to play with Rocco or not”: Andre Iguodala spills the beans on who’s the better shooter amongst Stephen Curry and his Splash brother
NBA Veteran Andre Iguodala opens up and talks about who’s the better shooter on the Warriors – Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson
The Golden State Warriors changed the way the modern-day NBA is played, whether it’s for the better or the worse. The Dubs won three titles in five years, and absolutely dominated the league. Even before Kevin Durant came along, the Warriors made an NBA record with 73 wins in a single season.
A major part of their success was their backcourt. The presence of superstars like Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, along with a defensive spearhead Draymond Green and veterans like Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala made it a perfect squad. The sharpshooting backcourt caused troubles to every team in the league and made numerous records on the way to the same. However, there has always been a constant question. Who among Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson is the better shooter. Well, in his appearance on the ‘Old Man and the Three’ podcast, Andre Iguodala clarified the same for us.
“It all depends on how Klay Thompson is feeling”: Andre Iguodala
Klay Thompson has always been one of the wildcard guys on the Warriors. His entire behavior depends on how he’s feeling at that moment. Well, Andre Iguodala shared that his shooting also depends upon the same.
Andre said,
“In terms of shooting — the only thing about Klay is he’ll get bored. Like in a shooting contest, he’ll get bored. So people are like, ‘Who’s a better shooter: Steph or Klay?’ It depends on if Klay wants to go play with his dog or not.”
Best moment from the pod. Iggy on who he thinks is the better shooter between Steph and Klay 😭😭😭@OldManAndThree @jj_redick @talter @andre pic.twitter.com/xhvTbLzR4N

Well, that sounds as Klay as it gets. Klay and Rocco share a special bond, and the Warriors fam knows it. There were times when Klay’s bobblehead also had Rocco along with it. The debate would have to hold a little longer though, as Klay Thompson works to get back on the court. Once he’s back, and in rhythm, the Warriors would be a different beast altogether.
