"It’s a 3rd 35/10 playoff game for Jimmy Butler tying Dwyane Wade": Heat All-Star makes a franchise record, just trails LeBron James on that list

Jimmy Butler is leading Miami Heat to yet another successful season while breaking some individual records that have “Dwyane Wade” written on it.

Jimmy Buckets unquestionably is one of the best Playoffs players in the league. Come post-season, the Miami Heat forward has the grit and determination comparable to the likes of Michael Jordan.

The 6x All-Star is the exact player and leader that matches the Heat culture. And it proved to be a match made in heaven when he came down to Miami from Philadelphia in 2019 and lead them straight to the NBA Finals in his first season.

Many questioned the Heat’s unbelievably successful 2019-20 season by saying it was a one-off or the Bubble season didn’t matter. Miami didn’t do anything that great the next season to prove them wrong. They got swept at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, the 2021 champions.

But this season they look determined to finish what they couldn’t 2 years back. After finishing as the top team in the East, Butler and Co matched up with Trae Young’s Atlanta Hawks, who caused many upsets last season.

Jimmy Butler is the savior of the Heat, much like D-Wade was

It looks like the Hawks wouldn’t make any upsets this season. Miami, even without their point guard Kyle Lowry, disfigured Atlanta on Sunday. Jimmy Butler with 36 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals without turning the ball over once, proved to be enough to go 3-1 up in the series with all the starters scoring in double digits.

And with that tremendous stat line, the former Bulls star matches Dwyane Wade’s career 35-10 Playoffs games with the Heat and is just 2 games behind LeBron James (5) to be at the top of that list.

Considering it’s only his 3rd year with this team while James played for four and Wade for 14 seasons, the man is bound to plenty more if he could keep up the good work. And as we know, Jimmy is all about good and hard work.
