Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks show up on most occasions. Heck, that’s why they are known as one of the best teams in the NBA. But, while the Greek Freak may have shown up physically, they just weren’t all there today.

The biggest indication? The score stood at 101-142 at the final buzzer of this game.
Now, when such an event is taking place, it is a bit of an unspoken rule that the winning team tone down the shenanigans so as to help preserve the dignity of the other team.
But the Grizzlies?
Well, it appears that they had never heard of such a thing.
Ja Morant and the Grizzlies take part in a crows wave in the middle of the 4th quarter
By the time the game even got to the 4th quarter, it’s fair to say that the Bucks had no chance of winning this one.
So, with both teams emptying their bench out to end the game, it’s fair to say that Ja Morant and the Grizzlies’ starters were pretty bored by then.
What did they do to cure this condition of theirs?
Well, just take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

Yikes.
Now that doesn’t look very good at first glance, does it?
However, is this really as bad as it looks?
Did Memphis mean anything by its actions?
Admittedly, it can be construed as bad in a multitude of ways. However, this doesn’t seem like an act of ill will.
Sure, perhaps the team got a bit carried away with it. But, it seems like the only thing on the team’s mind was to do some crowd-work, give the fans something to talk about, not insult the other team.
Still, the Memphis Grizzlies do need to look to tone it down just a tad in the future. Because, given the level of team they are becoming, this is likely to happen many more times in the future.
And not many teams may be as understanding as the Bucks’ players were.
