Ever since James Harden joined the Brooklyn Nets, the team looked deadly. They became the immediate favorites to win the title this season. With the superstar trio of Harden, Irving and Durant, the Brooklyn organization have gone all-in for the championship.
As expected, all three of Brooklyn’s stars made it into the All-Star team. Kevin Durant, after being named as the captain of a team, selected Kyrie Irving and James Harden on his All-Star team.
During the annual event, Golden State Warriors megastar Stephen Curry, playing for Team LeBron hilariously commented on Brooklyn’s superstar duo of Kyrie And Harden. Since both the guards were playing on the court together, Stephen Curry jokingly told Kyrie to play the shooting guard and Harden to play the point. Mid-game, Curry said:
“You (James Harden) the point guard, you (Kyrie Irving) the shooting guard, y’all talked about this!”

Brooklyn Nets have been winning games since the switch in roles between Harden and Kyrie
Initially, when Harden joined the star-studded Nets, Brooklyn had been struggling with the three stars on the court at the same time. The team didn’t look as promising as everyone thought they would be.
During the team’s struggles, Kyrie Irving and James Harden had decided to switch their roles in order to help the team win games. The former MVP James Harden shifted to the point guard position. While the 7-time All-Star moved to the two-guard position.
Ever since the change in position between the two guards, Brooklyn has been on a winning groove. Despite the absence of Kevin Durant, the duo has been helping the Nets be in a good position.
With Irving’s 27.2 points and 6 assists and Harden’s 25.5 points and 11.4 assists per game, they have been leading the team to a great 24-13 record. The Nets are now second in the Eastern Conference, one loss behind the Joel Embiid-led Philadelphia 76ers.
With the new acquisition of Blake Griffin, Brooklyn Nets will look to turn around their performance in the second half of the season. They would aim to win more games to clinch that first spot in the Eastern Conference. Tomorrow, they face Jayson Tatum and Co. as their first match of the second half of the season.
