Jonathan Isaac Injury: Where Has the Magic Center for the Last 3 Years?
The Orlando Magic this season have been beyond impressive. Sure, they may have the third-worst record in the Eastern Conference. However, the level of young talent on this roster is frightening, to say the least.
For starters, there is of course Paolo Banchero. The first-overall pick from the 2022 NBA draft has been surpassing all the hype. To many, he almost seems like a smaller Shaquille O’Neal with handles. And to make the deal sweeter, there are signs of a jump shot in the future too.
Then there are the likes of Bol Bol, Markelle Fultz, and even Jonathan Isaac.
Just one problem with that though. One of those names has missed a very significant amount of time with injury. And it’s neither Bol nor Fultz.
So, what happened to Jonathan Isaac? And will he be back in time to face the Boston Celtics tonight?

Jonathan Isaac last played during the Orlando Bubble before a freak injury
During the 2019-20 season, despite being just 23 years old, Jonathan Isaac was one of the best defensive players in the NBA. And the scariest part was, he was just getting started.
But unfortunately, fate had other plans.
Due to the awkward landing of his left foot, Isaac suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. And as fans know by now, he hasn’t been seen on the court since.
But, it has been nearly 3 years since this incident.
Has the now 25-year-old recovered enough to feature against the Boston Celtics tonight?
If ESPN is to be believed, it is very likely.
However, in case you want a second opinion, there is quite a wild one waiting for you.
Pastor announces that Jonathan Isaac will be healthy in time to face the Boston Celtics
The power of belief can be magnanimous, as it has been on several occasions. And it appears that Jonathan Isaac is hoping for something along the same lines ahead of tonight’s match.

A game against the current Boston Celtics side was never going to be the easy kind.
But perhaps it will be made just that little bit easier if the franchise has its best defensive player on the floor.
