Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown has been an offensive arsenal for the Boston Celtics this season. Jayson Tatum, The Celtics’ All-Star, has been out since January 9th after been tested positive for the coronavirus. Since then, Jaylen Brown has stepped up his game in Tarun’s absence.
After losing back-to-back matches to the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics made quite the comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are currently in great form. The Celtics managed to uproot the Cavaliers 141-103.

It was a historic performance by Jaylen Brown who led the Celtics to the win. It required Brown only 19 minutes to put on a show, scoring 33 points on 13/20 shooting from the field. Brown has set a new record for scoring the most number of points scored in fewer than 20 minutes in an NBA game since the introduction of the shot clock (since 1954).
‘Keep it going’: Bill Russell appreciates Jaylen Brown after his legendary performance
The third-pick of the 2016 NBA Draft has been a huge reason for Boston’s recent success. Brown has set a personal best with his fourth straight game with at least 25 points. This season is the best season for Brown, averaging 26.9 points (career-high), 3.7 assists (career-high), 1.4 steals (career-high) and 6 rebounds per game.
Following his performance, he received an appreciation from the 11-time champion, NBA legend Bill Russell. This must’ve been a great confidence booster for the 24-year old Brown.
