"Kevin Durant expressed condolences for Viviangate": Nets star hilariously engages in conversation with Lakers fan regarding how he got 'catfished'

Kevin Durant proved yet again that he’s a man of the people. He took part in a Twitter NBA fans’ chat to console a Lakers fan who got ‘catfished’.

KD has built up a reputation as a Twitter troll par excellence. There really are very few ways for you to realistically engage in a back-and-forth with him without getting roasted.

KD’s savage responses and outspoken comments, in general, have provided us with a steady dose of entertainment. But what he did yesterday was something you literally never see an elite athlete do.

Kevin Durant, an athlete worth hundreds of millions, participated in a Twitter chat thread of rabid NBA fans. He also dished out some really good advice and acted like a good friend when the situation demanded it.

Kevin Durant went all in on a Twitter NBA chat regarding Viviangate

Viviangate is a buzzword that’s going around NBA Twitter for the past day or so. This is with regards to a Twitter account by the name of Vivian. This ‘girl’, who’s actually a man sitting behind a fake profile, seems to have duped another man.

Viviangate is about a big Lakers fan that started some sort of relationship with another fan through the phone. The man seemingly fell for “her” but later realized he was being catfished.

This whole incident prompted KD to play the role of a counselor. The Lakers fan who got catfished goes by the Twitter sobriquet Big Kings, so KD seemed to address him by asking “Big Kings… Was catfished for how long… By another guy?”

He proceeded to gain full knowledge of the situation at hand from Kings:

“At what time you decided to commit to this person? Like you was super super [desperate], like you haven’t talked to a woman in a while?”

KD eventually finished his therapy session by advising the guy to move on. And it’s fine, this is the kind of thing that happens to a lot of single men looking for women every day.
