"Kevin Durant is the best player on the planet": Skip Bayless lauds the Brooklyn Nets superstar after his 49 points in a huge Game 5 win over Giannis Antetokounmpo's Bucks

Skip Bayless gave huge props to Brooklyn star Kevin Durant following his historic performance in a Game 5 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

On Tuesday night, Brooklyn Nets megastar Kevin Durant had a one-of-a-kind playoff performance. The Slim Reaper played the entire 48 minutes of the match, putting up a historic 49-point, 17-rebound and 10-assists triple-double on an incredible 70/44/81 shooting splits. Helping a Kyrie Irving-less Nets defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 114-108, and take a 3-2 series lead.

The 2014 league MVP put one of his best career performances and gave us an outing to remember. The 6-foot-10 swingman became just the first player in league history, to record a 45/15/10 stat-line.

Of course, after such a legendary performance, the entire world was raving about KD’s out-of-the-world production. Of the many analysts and fans who spoke highly of the 2-time champ, analyst Skip Bayless too gave Durantula some appreciation.

“The way Kevin Durant scores, I have never seen anything quite like that”: Skip Bayless

Often known for criticising and blasting players after a bad outing, the “UNDISPUTED” analyst spoke very highly of Durant. Skip also bashed James Harden, who had an extremely underwhelming 5-point outing. Bayless spoke:

“This game is sitting on a platter for all the world to behold. But it now is unfinished business because, let’s just say, they go on to win the NBA championship, which I’m certainly not ruling out today after what I saw last night, if they can cap it off with a championship, then you would look back at Game 5 of this round of the playoffs and you’d say ‘that’s it’. Then that game would have much greater magnitude than it had as just as a second-round game.”

“Here’s why last night was so all time special to me. James Harden proved to be a liability last night and I still can’t get it through my head. He played 46 minutes, on literally one leg, as a complete liability on both ends of the floor. He couldn’t score. James Harden was 1-from-10.”

“This was tour-de-force by, who I have always believed was the best player on the planet.”

While KD did give the Nets a 3-2 series lead, Brooklyn will have to expect yet another big night from Easy Money Sniper if they want to wrap up the series in Milwaukee on Thursday night itself.
