Durant has been one of the most dominant and recognizable NBA players over the past 10 years or more. KD and Steph have been the main challengers to LeBron’s throne as The King of modern-day basketball.
Steph may have gained more fans than KD with his dominance in the Bay Area. But KD still has most people’s nod as at least a top 2 player in the world alongside LeBron. All of this praise comes grudgingly, however, because KD has pulled off some tone-deaf PR moves of late.
One of the things that affects KD’s image is how he consistently draws fights from Twitter fans. KD loves riling up certain talking heads and certain people in order to get his point across.
Shannon Sharpe and Michael Rapaport have both been on the wrong end of KD’s Twitter fingers recently. However, fans have noticed something that would help Kevin Durant rehabilitate his image, if only slightly.

A Reddit user recently pointed out where KD has chosen to place his Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Award in his trophy case. They looked at his streaming and gaming setup, beside which he has a small shelf of trophies.
When you look through these images, you’ll find a blue/orange ball at the top of his display case. This is the trophy that we’re talking about, and the very trophy that fans are piling on to talk to him on Reddit about.
A few fans have called it an argument in his favor. They deem it to be like a statement he can make when he argues with fans of a younger age group. It’s obviously additional fodder to get on KD’s back and pester him about – for some people.
