“King of What? LeBricks?”: Skip Bayless Trolls LeBron James For Crowning Himself After Making 2-Straight Game Winning Threes
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers have sealed the 7th spot in the Western Conference. Thanks to 19x All-Star’s 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, they won Tuesday afternoon’s encounter with the Jazz 128-117 to face the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Play-in tournament.
With the game getting close with the score at 117-122 with plenty of time remaining on the game clock for the Jazz to come back, every Laker was trying to shoot a three but was missing the target. James then took it upon himself and shot back-to-back 3s from downtown to close the game out.
But it was not enough for the man who always critiques the 4x MVP’s closing abilities. Let’s look at what Skip Bayless had this time to frown about The King.
Skip Bayless mocks LeBron James for air-crowning himself after a MOTM performance
Skip Bayless might not have closed a game for even his school team, never mind scoring 36 points in a game, but the 71-year-old expects a 38-year-old to not celebrate his 36-6-6 effort to win his team a game.
LOLOLOLOL: LeBron puts an imaginary crown on his head after hitting his 8th three in 14 tries to hold off Utah without its best three players. ALL SEASON LEBRON HAS BEEN AN EMBARRASSMENT FROM 3 – ONE OF THE NBA’S WORST 3-POINT SHOOTERS. Just pathetic. King of what? LeBricks???

Hilarious, isn’t it? What sense do we even make of “The King of LeBrick”?
There would be a chance for James to shut Bayless once and for all, even if he leads his team to just win the first round against the Denver Nuggets or the Memphis Grizzlies, depending upon whom they get.
But knowing the man for years, we know he wouldn’t shut it up even if James and Co win it all. Who knows, he might call this season one of the worst, replacing 2019-20 one, just to discredit the 4x MVP.
What are the expectations from the Lakers now?
When a Purple and Gold team is in the Playoffs, whether they have two all-time greats in their squad or not, they are considered contenders. The Laker Nation would surely be expecting nothing short of an NBA title.
With the team they have been able to assemble after trading Russell Westbrook mid-season, they are not also short on talent to win it all. In fact, they are one of the most complete teams in the West on paper.
If injuries don’t bug them, the Lakers are going to present a lot of trouble to any team that’s trying to win a 7-game series against them.
