“Kyle Kuzma can’t stop laughing”: LeBron James hilariously mimes Anthony Davis’s jab step which causes the Lakers star to erupt in laughter

LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma make fun of Anthony Davis’s jab step when resting on the Lakers bench against the Spurs.

The Lakers seem to have found the sweet spot when it comes to team chemistry. A comparison between the 2020-21 Lakers and the Lakers of mere 2-3 years prior would yield massive differences.

The defending champs have already integrated their new offseason signees into the mix. It is very apparent that guys like Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder mesh well with the returning roster, on and off the court.

Two of the 4 longest tenured guys on this roster are LeBron James and Kyle Kuzma. They seem to have become quite acquainted with another in the near 3 years of playing together.

LeBron has given props to Kuzma on several occasions. He was the one who backed Kuzma to be this season’s breakout star.

Kyle Kuzma and LeBron James laugh at Anthony Davis’s jab step

Anthony Davis has slowly but surely been incorporating guard-like abilities into his bag ever since he entered the league. Now in his 9th season as a pro, Davis has become a lethal 3 level scorer.

He can dominate in the paint, hit a quick post fadeaway, or side step for a 3 pointer. However, in order to make a lot of his moves work, the big man hits his opponents with a semi-patented jab step.

LeBron James took notice of Davis’s tendencies and started imitating his All-Star teammate’s move. Kyle Kuzma immediately started laughing James’s impersonation, as Davis was unaware of what was going on.

Davis led the squad against the Spurs on Friday night as he notched 34 points and grabbed 11 boards. After the game, he seemed to be a little too hard on himself as he claimed he could’ve been much better on the defensive end of the floor; “I was sh-t defensively,” said Davis.
