Kyrie Irving ‘Hilariously’ Reacts to Skip Bayless-Shannon Sharpe Split on Fox Sports: “Should’ve Happened a Long Time Ago!”:

It is over. The dream team at Fox Sports 1 is gone. For the longest time, every morning for three hours, users used to tune in to Fox Sports 1 to catch Undisputed. However, it turns out the hosts of Undisputed had some disputes, which have now resulted in a breakup. It was reported that Shannon Sharpe has agreed on a buyout with Fox Sports, breaking up his partnership with Skip Bayless. The news came out not long ago, and when Kyrie Irving saw the same, he felt the need to react.

Every day both Skip and Shannon got on air, and picked on various athletes. One of them was Kyrie Irving, who had been receiving a lot of hatred from the duo. However, as soon as he saw the news, he felt he had to react to their breakup.

Kyrie Irving puts up a hilarious GIF reacting to Skip Bayless-Shannon Sharpe split

Skip Bayless was poached by Fox Sports from ESPN in 2016. From working with Stephen A Smith to then moving on to Shannon Sharpe, Bayless witnessed a big change. Over time they formed an on-screen bond and were good together. However, the biggest tear in their relationship happened during the Damar Hamlin incident earlier this year.

Skip’s comments via Twitter were disgusting, and Shannon chose not to come to work the next day. Even though they’ve worked together after the incident, there is a clear rift between the two. This, along with other factors, resulted in Shannon working out a buyout from his Fox deal.

He will be working till the end of the NBA Finals, but then after that, he’d leave Skip Bayless. Seeing this tweet, Kyrie Irving chose to react to the same with a tweet captioned “lol” and a GIF. The GIF is captioned,

“This is something that should’ve happened a long time ago!”

It’s clear that Kyrie did not like the duo together, and why would he? For the longest time, they’ve called him names and lamented his every move. After hearing of the split, Irving might be thinking, ‘Good Riddance.’

What’s next for Kyrie?

According to sources, Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks had a handshake deal about him returning to the Mavs in free agency. He’s eligible for a 5-year, $272 Million deal if he signs with the Mavs, or a 4-year, $210 Million deal in free agency.

He was linked to the Lakers, but the rumors started fading after D’Angelo Russell’s performance against the Warriors. However, seeing him against the Nuggets, the rumors came back alive. It is next to impossible that the Lakers offer Kyrie a max, so we’ll have to wait and see what Irving chooses. Money with the Mavs and a partnership with Luka, or less pay with the Lakers, but playing with Bron.

Kyrie may end up choosing a third option altogether and surprise us all. After all, he’s Kyrie Irving.
