Charlotte Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball picks himself in an All-Time five, that includes LeBron James, Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal.
The Charlotte Hornets are having a pretty good season for themselves. They hold a 13-15 record and sit on the 8th spot in the East. Gordon Hayward is leading them in scoring, averaging just over 22 points a contest.
The Hornets have won 3 out of their last 5 games. In these games, LaMelo has been averaging 19.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 2 steals. The young rookie leads the Hornets in assists per game at 6.1 and steals per game at 1.5.
The way that LaMelo is playing, he is showing the people that he is worth the hype that was around him. He is one of the candidates emerging for the Rookie of the Year honor.
LaMelo Ball plays himself at the point in his All-Time Five
The Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball is not only popular in the USA, but also in other parts of the world. In a recent interview with the NBA Philippines, LaMelo discusses quite a few things, along with his all-time five, his aspirations and more.
For his all-time five, Ball listed himself at the point, Michael Jordan as the SG, LeBron James as the SF, Kevin Durant at PF and Shaq at the center position.

While the lineup seems pretty solid, putting himself at the point spot is quite an ambitious move by the rookie. However, there is nothing against putting himself there, as this is LaMelo’s all-time five.
Further in the interview, LaMelo talks about how he aspires to be in the Hall of Fame one day. That is a far-fetched dream, but if the rookie keeps playing the way he is, and keeps improving, there is nothing that would stop that from coming true.
