'My sons are going to play together with Hornets': LaVar Ball wants his kids to team up under Michael Jordan

LaVar Ball made a guarantee that all 3 of his sons will play for the Hornets and win a ring under Michael Jordan.

LaVar Ball has been known for making bold statements. He is the biggest hype man for his sons, just like most of the parents are. His youngest son LaMelo Ball was drafted by the Hornets at the #3 spot in the 2020 Draft.

LaVar’s dream of seeing all 3 of his sons in the NBA was about to become a reality. But the Pistons, who had signed Gelo on a non-guaranteed contract, waived him because of dull performances in the first 2 preseason games.

“All three are set to go to Charlotte, I can guarantee it.”: LaVar Ball

There were reports before the draft that Michael Jordan told the Hornets front office that he wants LaMelo Ball. The Hornets made it happen, and with LaMelo came LaVar. In his appearance on ‘The Truth’ podcast, LaVar Ball made yet another bold claim – all 3 of his sons would play for the Hornets and win a ring there.

LaVar would have to wait a little longer for his dream to become a reality though. Meanwhile, Lonzo starts his 4th season in the league soon. He would play a key role with the Pelicans. LaMelo has not disappointed in his two games. Even though he was scoreless in the first game, he dished 4 assists and grabbed 10 boards. In the second game, he 12 points.
