“LeBron James, AD, Melo and Russell Westbrook together would be dope”: Reggie Miller calls out NBA fans’ hypocrisy in criticizing players for not winning championships
NBA veteran Reggie Miller shares his enthusiasm about watching the LeBron James and Melo on the Lakers in the upcoming season.
Recently, the Hall of Famer shared his excitement about watching the revamped Lakers in the upcoming season. The team has been making a lot of noise during the current free agency.
The LA team acquired former league MVP, Russell Westbrook, in a blockbuster trade. Brodie’s arrival at the Staples Center marked the entry of a new Big 3 in the NBA.
The Lakers weren’t done here and would acquire veteran talents, such as Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza, and Dwight Howard. Many of these players were returning for another stint with the franchise.
Miller, who couldn’t contain his excitement, took to social media to share his joy.

The Pacers legend took on a fan who commented about everyone in the NBA resorting ring chasing in the current era.
“LeBron James, AD, Melo and Russell Westbrook together would be dope”: Reggie Miller
The 5x NBA All-Star played all his 18-years of professional basketball with the Indiana Pacers. Miller was known to be one the greatest 3-point shooter the league had ever seen.
Miller is also an elite member of the 50-40-90 club. He had achieved this great feat during the 1993-94 NBA season. However, despite having a decorated career, Miller never won an NBA title.
Recently, a Twitter user commented on Miller’s post stating how all players are ring chasing. The Olympic gold medalist didn’t spare the user and replied saying,
“Perhaps, but you’re and many others are the same people who kill guys for being loyal and ringless, can’t have it both ways. Go get dat jewelry.”

Miller might be right in his statement, as chasing a ring can be a double-edged sword. In the past as well, players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant have been victims of a lot of hate due to their ways of winning championships.
It’s ironic how some players are criticized for the means they adopt to win a championship. At the same time legends such as Charles Barkley, Allen Iverson, Karl Malone, and Reggie Miller are mocked for not winning a title and their legacy being incomplete.
