LeBron James compares NBA Bubble to prison

LeBron James leaves for the NBA Bubble today and has compared that to leaving for a prison term, something that has received mixed reactions.

Lakers head to Orlando

Three-time NBA champion LeBron James and Lakers will travel to the Walt Disney World today.

The Lakers are the top seed team and will be staying at Grand Destino. Today 8 teams will reach Orlando which are Rockets, Pacers, Lakers, Bucks, 76ers, Trail Blazers, Spurs, and Raptors.

LeBron James comparing ‘the NBA Bubble’ with Prison

Four-time MVP winner shared his thoughts on leaving for Orlando. In his twitter post, LeBron Wrote “Just left the crib to head to the bubble. Shit felt like I’m headed to do a bid man!”, James wrote on his official Twitter page.”Hated to leave the #JamesGang”.

Damian Lillard also feels the same

James feels that he is heading to prison instead of a world-class facility. Lakers star is not the only one to think of the same. Earlier Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard also shared an Instagram post that was captioned as “ Feel like I’m going to do a bid…. Headed to the bubble”(similar to what LeBron was trying to convey).

NBA Bubble rules

The players have to quarantine themselves for at least 48 hours once they reach Orlando. They will be given permission to join the team in training only after 2 consecutive negative coronavirus tests.

If found negative the player will be allowed and if found positive then the player will have to stay in a separate facility until the player gets healthy.

LeBron faces backlash from fans

Comparing the bubble restart with a prison experience is not right on many levels and it hasn’t gone down well with fans too.

The facilities that the players will get in the confined area would be the best in the world The isolation of players is only for their good as the coronavirus can be lethal if spread in the facility.
