“LeBron James Got The Tape Confiscated”: When The King Got Nike to Erase Footage of Jordan Crawford Posterizing Him
LeBron James is undoubtedly considered to be one of the greatest players of all time. The man has been in the headlines ever since his days in high school. After all, he was and still is the face of the NBA.
Well, as the poster boy of the league, many fans believe he can do no wrong. He is The King, the one chasing the crown held by Michael Jordan. So, whether it’s on the court or off the court, LeBron fans will stand by their idol no matter what.
However, there are times when the agenda of “protecting” him goes a bit too far. Like when both Nike and LeBron erased footage of him being dunked on by Jordan Crawford at his own camp. Controversial to say the least.
LeBron James apparently had Nike erase footage of him being dunked on to protect his image
The debate that has been raging for close to two decades now in the NBA is who is the GOAT? Is it LeBron James or Michael Jordan? Is it The King or His Airness? Well, for LeBron faithful, the answer is simple.
Over the years, The King’s fans have made numerous arguments as to why James is the greatest. This includes suggesting that MJ smothered game tape in order to make himself look good. A very serious allegation.
Unfortunately for them, the Jordan stans are unfazed. In fact, they responded in kind, sharing some fan footage from one of LeBron’s camps some years ago. Footage that King James had Nike erase, as he is seen being dunked on by then-high schooler Jordan Crawford.
Lebron fans sound wild claiming that Michael Jordan smothered game tape when we all know Lebron and Nike tried to keep the world from seeing King James get dunked on by a high school kid at his own camp 😂😂 insecure ass. https://t.co/uUjTf8kmWz pic.twitter.com/fLe1NH7oSX

If true, this certainly paints the four-time NBA Champion in a bad light. Then again, it probably is the last thing on his mind. Especially considering he is focused on winning his fifth ring.
LeBron is locked in on the 2023 Playoffs and is gunning for his fifth championship
Whether or not he erased footage, all that is in the past for LeBron James. The King is more focused on the now, and after breaking the all-time scoring record, the only thing on his mind will be winning a fifth championship. And, with his 2023 Playoff run starting of with a win, a Finals appearance is certainly on the agenda.

Can the Lakers go all the way? Can LeBron further solidify his legacy? Will he surpass Michael Jordan? Only time will tell.
