“LeBron James Has the Minion Glasses on!”: Lakers Superstar’s Sunglasses at ESPYS 2023 Has NBA Twitter in Splits

LeBron James is one of the greatest basketball players we’ve ever seen. His Basketball IQ is second to none. Combining that with his athleticism and skills makes it a very deadly combo. Along with being one of the best players we’ve ever seen, Bron has one special talent. He’s unintentionally funny. There have been countless cases of the Lakers superstar making everyone laugh by practically doing nothing. Tonight was a great example of the same at the ESPYS with his Minion sunglasses.

LeBron James was at the ESPYS tonight as he was honored with the Best Record-Breaking Performance for breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record. It was a very wholesome moment with his wife Savannah and kids on the stage to present the award to him. However, Bron found a way somehow to make it all funny.

LeBron James has NBA Twitter in splits with his Minion sunglasses

Being at the ESPYS, we knew LeBron James would show up wearing something dapper. He did just that, and on top of that, he added one small touch – his sunglasses. A Twitter user hilariously pointed out how these glasses resembled Dr. Nefario from Despicable Me; no one could unsee that.

After that, NBA Twitter went wild with the jokes and comparisons. Some compared him to Dr. Steel.

On the other hand, others thought he was Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

And, of course, how can any LBJ comparison go without the obligatory hairline joke?

Now whether he meant to do it or not, LeBron James has NBA Twitter in splits and then followed it up by clearing the air about his retirement. Talk about multitasking.

LeBron left fans laughing with his Peach Jam video

We saw a compilation video of LeBron James at Bryce’s Peach Jam a few days ago. He was coaching his team, Team Striving For Greatness. While coaching the team, Bron gave us quite a few gems with his actions on the court.

He was seen hilariously arguing with the referee, having a meltdown when one of his players couldn’t sub, and more. It’s like LeBron doesn’t have to try to be funny, he’s just naturally funny.
