“LeBron James Is the Baddest Mother…”: Zhuri Stopping Savannah James From Cussing at ESPYS Had Bronny James Grinning
The James family is a close-knit family. Even though all of them lead busy lives, they always get together to celebrate the big moments in each other’s lives. Tonight was one of those moments as LeBron James was honored at the ESPYS. Having broken Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s scoring record in February, Bron won the Best Record-Breaking Performance award at the 2023 ESPYS. Last year Stephen Curry won the record-breaking performance award for surpassing Ray Allen, and this year it went to another NBA superstar in LBJ. His wife, Savannah James, was there to support him, along with his three children, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri.
Having received his award, LeBron was joined on stage by Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade, honoring their banana boat crew mate Carmelo Anthony. They celebrated his years in the NBA and his work on and off the court.

Zhuri James stops Savannah James from cussing during the ESPYS
Tonight was a big night for LeBron James, and his family found a way to make it even more special. They were there with the speech before presenting the award to Bron. Savannah had some beautiful words for her husband.
Savannah James at the ESPYS: “I think LeBron James is the baddest to ever set foot on a basketball court. Nobody works harder. Nobody cares more. And nobody has done more for the game of basketball than LeBron James.” pic.twitter.com/rU8Xw94Y96

However, before giving this whole speech, there was a hilarious moment. During the very first line of her speech, Savannah was about to swear, which was interrupted by Zhuri quickly.

This clearly left both Bronny and Bryce in splits, who were seen grinning up on the ESPYS stage.
LeBron James announces he’s not retiring
Ever since the Denver Nuggets eliminated the Lakers in the WCF, Bron dropped a bomb on all NBA fans with his retirement consideration. While most of us knew he wasn’t going out, especially with a WCF exit, some refused to believe it until Bron said it himself.
Well, using the ESPYS stage tonight, Bron confirmed he’s not going anywhere.
LeBron James:
“The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.” 👑👑👑

We’ll get at least one more year from the King before he decides to hang his boots. Perhaps Bronny getting drafted in 2024 might even extend that time frame.
