LeBron James’ Iconic $700,000 Worth Nike ‘Kings Pride’ Lamborghini Could Rival Michael Jordan’s New $3 million Ride

Like every superstar, LeBron James also splurges his money on luxurious cars. His lifetime deal with Nike earns him enormous money, adding to his massive net worth. Some reports believe that LeBron might earn multiple times more than $30 million annually from his Nike contract. Following Michael Jordan’s recent $3 million purchase, LeBron has added a $700,000 worth Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to his garage, thanks to Nike. Interestingly, the supercar is customized to match his signature pair of shoes.

NBA players often have very high net worth, thanks to the substantial paychecks that they earn from their teams and the massive sporting deals. Besides his Nike contract, LeBron’s contract with the Lakers is worth around $97 million. All of these do explain why star athletes would want to spend some percentage of their fortunes on some precious automobiles.

LeBron James added a $700,000 car to his collection with customizations matching his signature shoes

Automobile website Supercar Blondie recently reported on LeBron James’ latest addition of a customized Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. Nike commissioned the customization from exotic car rental company Lou La Vie to match LeBron’s X1 King’s Pride floral shoes.

The car looks very similar to the shoe, boasting Nike’s floral pattern. While a stock Aventador may cost $300,000 to $400,000, adding custom wrap would make it even more exquisite. Given that a premium company did the customization as Lou La Vie, this adds another $300,000 to the car’s value. If the owner were ever to sell his car, it would be worth more than $700,000 in today’s market.

LeBron is probably following in the footsteps of Michael Jordan, who has recently purchased a $3 million limited edition Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster. Jordan is another veteran NBA star with an exotic collection of cars since his playing days. In the GOAT debate, LeBron has always been compared to MJ, putting even his possessions against Jordan’s. Perhaps, to up the ante with the Bulls legend, LeBron is quickly following pace with his car collection.

Michael Jordan adds a $3 million limited edition car to his garage

Michael Jordan has recently purchased a Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster for a whopping $3 million. As seen in this tweet by Vincenzo Landino, he has just delivered this limited edition car to Jordan’s private golf club in Florida.

The car is powered by a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 6.6 liter V8 engine. This robust machine produces a massive 1,817 horsepower and 1,193 pound-feet of torque. Hennessey has limited the production of this car to just 30 pieces, with Michael Jordan owning one of them. This perhaps explains the hefty price tag on this car.
