"LeBron James, PULL UP BABY!": Jake Paul wants Lakers star in his corner during his much anticipated fight against Tyron Woodley in Cleveland

YouTube sensation Jake Paul invites LeBron James to Cleveland for his latest boxing match against Tyron Woodley

LeBron James has been pretty private about his offseason so far.

Of course, LeGM has done quite a bit. But that’s just the alter ego. As for the king himself, the most notable thing he has really done during his time off, is treat team USA to Lobos Tequila after they recently won the Olympics. Apart from that, there’s really nothing. And apparently, that’s something Jake Paul wants to fix.

How? Well, the Paul brother has been indulging in boxing as of late. And bias, and his snarky personality aside, you have to respect the work he has put into it.

Recently, it was announced that the former Disney star would be fighting Tyron Woodley on August 29th of this year in Cleveland. And while promoting the event, he had an interesting message for LeBron James.

Let’s get into it.

“Pull up, Baby”: Jake Paul urges LeBron James to come to cheer him on in his fight

Most may not know this, but Jake Paul (Westlake), and LeBron James (Akron) are both from Ohio. And with the state having so many high-profile individuals repping it, somehow the stereotype of it being a boring and unknown place doesn’t quite make as much sense anymore. And this is exactly what Jake Paul tried to tap into while trying to invite LeBron James.

Take a look at what he said during his interview with TMZ Sports on the topic.

“I think it’s just really cool that this is sort of an Ohio affair… and, not a lot of boxing matches take place in Ohio, let alone Cleveland… LeBron, pull up baby… When I was 12, came and saw your games. I paid good money for some front-row seats. I was yelling at you from the crowds… And so, I think it’s only right that you pull up and yell, “Jake! Jake! But look, LeBron, this one’s for the city man, pull up!”

Jake was also sure to mention who else was coming for the event and also to boost the attraction of it all.

“Katie taking gold, Duke Regan boxing coming up a silver. Oshae Jones with the bronze. We got swimmers Zach Apple, Hunter Armstrong both getting gold in swimming.”

“Like, the Ohioans were crushing it. So, I was like come on down to the fight, and it’s perfect timing. It’s right after the Olympics. They get to chill out, and maybe grab a beer!”

As much as we may not like Paul’s personality, we have to admit, he definitely makes this event sound fun. However, will LeBron James actually heed the invite?

Only time will tell.
