"LeBron James, That's Not Michael Jordan-esque!": Skip Bayless Goes After Lakers Star for His 'Winner' Speech in Miami

The Los Angeles Lakers continued their road trip as they made their way to Orlando tonight. After the Xmas loss against the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James and the Lakers did not want to miss a chance to secure a win over the Magic tonight. With LBJ and Russell Westbrook leading the way, the Lakers secured an emphatic 129-110 win.

LeBron James snapped a six-game streak of scoring 30 or more. He recorded 28 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Russell Westbrook had a triple-double off the bench. He added 15 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists.

The Magic were never in the game. Even though they tried trimming the lead quite a few times, the Lakers didn’t let go of the control. This helped them register the 19-point win. With this win, they improve to a 13-20 record for the season. Despite the win, the team, especially LeBron, was berated by Skip Bayless.

Skip Bayless mocks LeBron James for poor three-point shooting

The Los Angeles Lakers securing a win tonight was important for the team’s morale. Before this win, they were on a four-game skid. Even after a sound victory, LeBron’s biggest ‘hater’ Skip Bayless, could not let things go without commenting about the same.

He took it to his Twitter and spoke about LBJ’s poor three-point shooting.

Sure, the King couldn’t find his range tonight. His three-point shooting has been off the mark this year. Bron’s shooting 30.6% so far this season. Despite the poor shooting from the deep, he’s averaging 27.8 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists a game.

LBJ’s poor shooting has lost the Lakers a few games, but that has always been after he himself put the team in a position to win. LBJ would hope his shooting numbers go up, but considering all he has to do in his 20th season, I’m doubtful about the same.

How far is LeBron from Kareem’s record?

After his 28 points tonight, Lebron James trails Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by 573 points. If Bron keeps playing the way he has been, he should be able to get to Kareem’s record by late February or early March.

It would be a huge achievement and a crown on top of Bron’s stellar career.
