"LeBron James Unraveled Down The Stretch But Redeemed Himself": Skip Bayless Throws Shade At The los Angeles Lakers Star Despite Scoring 37 In A Win Against The Sacramento Kings

The Los Angeles Lakers are now on a five-game winning streak. They’ve been without a loss since LeBron James turned 38. Even numbers seem to work for the man because all he’s been doing is settling scores with his naysayers.

In the 5 games played since his birthday, Bron has scored 47, 43, 25, and now 37 points. He did not play against the Miami Heat, but they still managed to pull off an impressive win. Tonight, against the Sacramento Kings, there was never a point in the game where it looked like he would let it slip.

A back-and-forth game between the capital city of California and the capital of avocados saw the Lakers come up on top. Bron was one of four men who gave their all for the purple and gold tonight. However, his biggest naysayer, Skip Bayless, thought otherwise.

Despite scoring nearly as many points as his age, LeBron was mocked by the under-fire analyst. Skip believed that LeBron James was one slip away from letting the game go, despite it being a complete 180.

Skip also thought he “redeemed” himself by scoring that tough And-1 bucket in the game’s final minute, which gave LA a one-point lead. Just a couple of days ago, Bayless said he was finally a fan of the man, but tonight, he showed his true colors once again. Much shade was thrown, and they were all different shades of green.

Skip Bayless has never been one to fully praise anyone – even in a victory, he had to nitpick

While it is true that the King has a lower percentage than average from beyond the arc, he more than makes up for it with his activities below the rim. Despite being closer to 50 than 20, Bron has not looked like he’s lost a step. His beard may have a few grey hairs, but his jump is still youthful.

But Bayless expects nothing but a perfect game from LBJ every single time. Even so, he’d probably remember the time he scored 50 points. He’s never satisfied with the Lakers’ performance; even if he wins four more rings, it wouldn’t be enough.

Going 1/6 from the 3-point line should have caused a loss, but Dennis Schroeder made up the difference. He looked like he had an aimbot attached to his arm today because everything was going in.

LeBron James will look to continue his purple (and gold) patch of form – He’s only 422 points behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

It is a great source of bewilderment for fans to see Skip berate someone who’s about to pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for points next month. even more so when Bron was spotted hugging Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe the game before.

Since turning 38, LeBron James has scored 30 or more points on three separate occasions, tying Kareem. While Kareem took 200+ games to do it, Bron took 4. Even in that fourth game, he had 25 points.

The next game is against the league leaders, the Denver Nuggets, whom they have previously defeated. They just eclipsed them a couple of weeks ago, and if Thomas Bryant continues his form, he’d be a strong matchup for Nikola Jokic.
