Luka Doncic becomes the first-ever player in history to record more than one 30-point triple-doubles in the playoffs, all of them vs the Clippers.

Luka Doncic is one of the best players in the league. Despite being only 22-years-young, the Dallas Mavericks superstar has already reached unreal heights so early in his young career.

Only playing in his third season, Doncic has already broken some unreal records set by some all-time greats. Leading his young Dallas team to an impressive 42-30 record, they clinched the 5th seed of the Western Conference.

Entering their second-consecutive postseason, the Mavericks have a strong Kawhi Leonard-led Clippers team as their first-round matchup. They’re currently one-up on their opponents, having taken Game 1 at the Staples Center

Luka Doncic is the first player to record multiple 30-point playoff triple-doubles before turning 23

On Saturday night, the two teams battled it out at the Staples Center. After seeing their last year’s epic playoffs series, this clash was highly anticipated. The action-packed game witnessed Luka and his Mavericks grabbing a 113-103 win over the Los Angeles-based team.

The 6-foot-7 point forward was playing absolutely terrific. He looked to have a killer mentality as soon as he stepped on the floor. Despite being heavily guarded by some of the best defenders, the 2-time All-Star easily recorded a big 31-point, 10-rebounds and 11-assists triple-double.

With this outstanding Game 1 performance, Luka puts himself in the history book once again. Previously sharing the company of icons Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James, Doncic is now the only player younger than 23, to record multiple 30-point triple-doubles.

Somehow, the Slovenian star still manages to continue surprising us with his jaw-dropping performances. With the Dallas Mavericks expecting to fall to the Clippers yet again, Luka will be eyeing to hand LAC an upset while hoping to have a deep playoff run this year.
