Bradley Beal was recently on the Knuckleheads podcast with Q & D where he talked about Michael Jordan and Jordan Brand.

Brad Beal has become one of the NBA’s top bucket getters over the past 3 seasons or so. He’d already showcased his impressive range as a shooter in years gone by. But he’s taken his scoring onslaught to a whole new level in the past 2 years.
Beal and Russell Westbrook overcame a Covid-riddled start of the season and helped Washington qualify for the play-in tournament with a late-season surge. Given all of the Wizards’ health problems and coaching issues this year, they can be expected to be even better in 2022.
Beal will definitely be looking to play his part for Team USA at Tokyo 2022 in the upcoming weeks. Despite not having Stephen Curry or LeBron James in their ranks this time, Team USA will be heavy favorites.
After all, the best and most unguardable player in the world in Kevin Durant is on their roster. And he’s going to get great support from the likes of Lillard, Devin Booker, Beal, Zach LaVine and Jayson Tatum, among others.
“Michael Jordan ain’t just fine with anybody”: Bradley Beal on being recruited by Jordan Brand
Bradley Beal recently switched from Nike to Jordan Brand in terms of the shoemakers he endorses. According to the Wizards superstar, the approach by Michael Jordan and the Jumpman family is a lot more hands-on:
“It’s unreal. So I’ve been with Nike all my life, ever since I was in high school. My mama had a Nike tattoo on her leg. We love Nike. So this is the last year of my deal and Nike told me Jumpman is very, very interested in me.”
“Me? My momma saying Mike don’t like nobody. Mike ain’t just fine with anybody so I’m like ‘Ok well, if he’s signing off on me, it’s gotta be something special.'”
“So man, from the presentation to interacting with him and then meeting the guys, it’s unreal man…Pressure, man, it’s non-stop pressure. But they treat you like family and it’s all love because it’s my first year, so.”
