Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal was asked about which players he looked up to, and the Wizards guard ended up creating the ideal basketball player according to him.

Beal appeared on an Episode of Knuckleheads from The Players’ Tribune with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles to talk about several topics. He discussed his life growing up, his career with the Washington Wizards and playing with John Wall, Wall’s trade and meshing with Westbrook, and which NBA players inspired him.

Wall ended up going from talking about his inspiration to making a machine which could gel all of the best basketball players in the world into one human. His ideal player included several NBA legends including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Allen Iverson.

Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson Would Be Part Of The Perfect NBA Player For Bradley Beal

When it comes to building the best basketball player in the world, there’s a few people you just can’t leave out. Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are prime examples.

Beal chose these two for their elite footwork and skillful ability with the basketball. Allen Iverson was another name that Bradley Beal brought up for his elite handling and dribbling skills. We all know that Allen Iverson’s crossover game is perhaps the best in NBA history, so it makes sense that Beal would go with him when it comes to handles.

Aside from these legends, Beal also spoke about Ray Allen, for his electric shooting stroke. Beal’s mother apparently used to get on his case for working on his jumpshot, making it more and more like Ray Allen, the NBA’s leading three point shooter.

Building a player with those four seems like the dream scenario. You’ve got defense, mid-range, three point shooting, and elite level handling. What more do you need?

You can check out Bradley Beal’s entire episode with the Q and D here as he dives into much greater detail about why he chose these players and what they meant to him growing up. This section of the video starts at the 58:40 mark of the video.
