"One day I will share that story": Draymond Green tells Taylor Rooks there was more to him punching Jordan Poole than what came out

Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are in a tumultuous situation regarding the Hall of Fame-bound forward’s future for the first time since he made his debut in 2012.

After coming in as the 35th pick that same year, Green instantly established his place in the core of the Dubs that would become a dynasty with him, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson leading the front.

10 years and 4 championships later, Green is one of the team’s 4th best-paid players currently which makes sense with Andrew Wiggins being the GSW’s second-best player.

However, next year he’d fall behind Jordan Poole in that line, which presumably, won’t be good enough for him. And if and when he moves, Green might reveal a secret that we all want to know.

Draymond Green says he’d tell his side of the story about punching Jordan Poole, one day

In a recent appearance in a BR interview with Taylor Rooks, the 2017 DPOY went full spectrum about how he would be considering his option at the end of this season.

Rooks asked him about punching Jordan Poole and his side of the story after he himself watched the leaked video himself. Draymond did keep his silence but said he would keep it to himself for now and said, “one day I will (share that story).”

Poole or Green, whose side are you on?

If Green says he watched it all day. You know the man means it when he says he was 100% wrong in his reaction. And Poole must have been consistently bad-mouthing like the reports tell, which is why Green had such a strong reaction.

Anyway, cheers to him for not revealing it. And it must be the reason the Warriors didn’t ban him for punching a teammate. That did surprise the NBA community. Not revealing the whole matter might have been Green’s bargaining chip in it.
