Shaquille O’Neal is a man who is quite opinionated. Over the years, Shaq has been rather vocal about a variety of topics. Whether it’s cooking, TV shows, movies, entertainment, you name it, he has something to say about it.

But, what he is most known for are his takes on basketball. After all, he’s a Hall of Famer who spent 19 seasons in the NBA. Some may say he is more than qualified to share his thoughts on the sport.

Well, recently, Big Diesel did just with an Instagram story. He shared a picture showcasing a list of the Top-10 athletes of all time. And, at No.1, is none other than Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan is widely considered to be the greatest player in NBA history. The man dominated the opposition for 14 years and has rightfully claimed the throne. Although the NBA isn’t the only domain he holds GOAT status over.

His Airness is also widely considered to be one of the greatest athletes of all time. However, this is still highly debatable. Especially considering just how many amazing athletes the world has borne witness to. From Cristiano Ronaldo to Roger Federer, there are so many great personas to choose from.

Well, one person has already cast his vote, and that man is Shaquille O’Neal. The Big Aristotle recently shared a story from FanDuel which has MJ seated at the top according to Chat GPT. Ahead of a host of other names including Serena Williams, Muhammad Ali, and Lionel Messi.

It certainly is quite the choice. Looking back at what Jordan has accomplished, it is an understandable one. But, while they did get most of it right, one could make the case that Shaq himself deserves to be on the list.

The likes of Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, and Wayne Gretzky all deserve to be on the GOAT list. But, Shaquille O’Neal himself definitely deserves a shout. The man was the most dominant force the NBA has ever seen, racking up four NBA Championships, three Finals MVPs, and a regular season MVP.

At the end of the day, whether he is on the list or not, Shaq certainly is one of the greats and nothing can ever change that.
