Milwaukee Bucks Will Have Another Parade": Shaquille O'Neal Thinks That The 2021 Champions Are Set For Another Finals Run On One Condition

The Milwaukee Bucks have had some injury concerns over the past year, but they still seem to be doing extremely well. A team that is built for situations like this is the one that can manage the ultimate aim—a championship. Five random star players (cough, Los Angeles Lakers) and a brittle bench aren’t enough to win any silverware.

If the only silverware they want to win is the spoon to eat humble pie with, that is. But the Bucks aren’t built that way. With a roster designed to move pieces around in the event of an injury (read: Khris Middleton), the Bucks have fared admirably despite losing their second go-to guy.

Shaquille O’Neal believes that a healthy Bucks team could win it all and host another championship parade. While that may be true for half the teams in the NBA, it rings truest for two teams. One is for the Golden State Warriors, and the other is for the Bucks.

Shaquille O’Neal knows what a healthy duo can do – he’s been a part of one of the most devastating duos ever

The Kobe-Shaq duo won three titles together—a triple-peat has not been done since. Many came close but failed. LeBron James had the opportunity from 2011-2014, but two Texas-based teams stopped him. Stephen Curry could have managed the same, but LeBron was there to spoil the party.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton forming a formidable partnership, a championship was imminent. But the work of Jrue Holiday flew under the radar. He was essentially the Mekugi (a peg for the katana handle) that held together the katana that Giannis and Middelton were.

Milwaukee sits pretty at Number 2 – will they climb back up to the top spot?

The Eastern Conference has never been more competitive than this season. There have been so many ups and downs, and so many leadership changes. Currently, the Bucks sit just behind the Celtics after an impressive win against Toronto. Playing without Giannis or Khris, Jrue Holiday stepped up to score a season-high of 37 points.

Grayson Allen and Brook Lopez both stepped up, scoring 25 points and 19 points, respectively, but more importantly, shooting high-percentage 3-pointers. The game was taken away from Toronto with their incredible 3-point shooting, and the threesome were awesome from beyond the arc.

The Celtics have a four-game advantage over the Bucks. With that kind of leadership and the team they have, it’s hard to see them lose ground. The Bucks may not end up in the top spot, but their aim is higher than that. To win a championship, they need to beat their conference rivals first.

And they seem to be underprepared for that test at this moment. They’ve struggled against conference rivals but have had more comfort against the West.

It looks like Shaq may be right, but only if Milwaukee manages to turn the tide against the East.
