Spurs vs Nets Scrimmage preview
The last two scrimmage games will be of standard timing (48 minutes). Spurs played a good game against Eastern Conference No.1 seed team Bucks, rotating the ball beautifully and looking like a well-knit team.
On the other hand, the Nets were not able to put a good performance against Pelicans as they were only able to score 68 points. They looked lacklustre and short of ideas all through the game.
Nets are placed at No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference (30-34) whereas Spurs (27-36) is the No. 12 seed team in the Western Conference. Spurs would be the favorite for the match as they have put up a better performance than Nets in the previous game.
Team News for Brooklyn Nets
Justin Anderson, Jamal Crawford, Dona Hall, Joe Harris, and Tyler Johnson missed the first scrimmage and are likely to miss the second one also. The rest of the team have played in the first game and would want more minutes to get into the feel for the new surroundings. Dzanan Musa was the highest scorer for nets with 11 points in the game.
The big guns, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving are out for the season, both nursing heavy injuries and the Nets seem to be mere passengers in the NBA bubble

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot

Chris Chiozza
