And while many expected him to be handing roses to his former Duke teammate, and it seems he is more focused on himself than ever. This was the player’s response to the question.
“I mean let me give an honest answer uh in the end of the day I’m happy for him uh it was nice seeing him out on the court because that was my first time actually getting to play against him but it’s like my mom taught me that’s nice enough for him but I got my own business to handle over here.”
Fans of the New Orleans Pelicans will find it encouraging that the face of their franchise is this focused. And if the franchise can continue in the trend they were following before their recent loss, they could be headed for the playoffs after all.
