"Playing FIFA is harder than guarding Anthony Davis": Joel Embiid mocks Lakers star with the most painful insult after showing supremacy on court

Joel Embiid mocks Anthony Davis : Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid takes a brutal dig at Lakers’ big Anthony Davis

The Sixers dealt the Lakers their first road loss of the season last week. The Sixers, riding on a huge performance from Joel Embiid, had Tobias Harris hit the game-winner to win the contest 107-106.

Joel Embiid had a team-high 28 points, along with 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocked shots to lead the Sixers. Tobias Harris added 24 points, and Ben Simmons chipped in with a 17 point triple-double. Anthony Davis scored 23 points, along with 8 rebounds and two blocked shots. LeBron James had a game-high 34 points, to go along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Joel Embiid says playing FIFA is harder than guarding Anthony Davis

Joel Embiid was recently a part of a Twitch streamer’s live named ‘Munch’. There the host asked Joel whether playing FIFA is harder, or guarding Anthony Davis is. Joel thought for a second and then said playing FIFA is harder.

One of the biggest reasons behind Joel Embiid’s statement could have Anthony Davis’ post-game comments. There Anthony Davis had made a statement saying the Lakers would beat the Sixers if they were to meet in the Finals. While the Lakers may be the defending champions, making such a statement this early in the season did not sit right with Joel Embiid.

Joel Embiid is playing at a higher level this season. Considered to be one of the early season MVP picks, Embiid has been averaging 28.3 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.2 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. He has done so while shooting over 54% from the field and 40% from the deep. If Joel keeps playing like this, and he can make a deep playoff run with the Sixers, he can probably win his first MVP award this season.
