"Probably the worst tweet you've hit send on": NBA Twitter mock a fan for a racist take on Luka Doncic's NBA 2K22 cover

NBA Twitter destroys a fan who has a weird and racist take on Luka Doncic for being the cover athlete of NBA 2K22.

Luka Doncic is arguably the greatest young talent present in the league. At only 22 years of age, Doncic is already considered one of the best players in the league. The resume he has racked up in only three complete NBA seasons is beyond incredible. The Dallas Mavericks superstar is a 2-time All-Star, 2-time All-NBA player and the former Rookie of the Year.

The numerous accolades Luka has achieved and the records he has broken is surreal. Just like his first two seasons in the league, this 2020-2021 campaign too, the Slovenian star put the league on a tear. After averaging 27.7/8/8.6 in the regular season, the Mavs star elevated his game furthermore in the playoffs, putting up a breath-taking 35.7 points, 10.3 assists and 7.9 rebounds while almost upsetting the Los Angeles Clippers.

After such an impressive individual year, 2K Games honoured the 6-foot-7 guard by naming him the cover athlete of the upcoming NBA 2K22 game.

While NBA and 2K fans around the world were happy for Luka gracing the cover of the popular game, a certain Twitter user wasn’t very pleased with 2K Games for choosing Doncic as the cover athlete. In a brainless rant, she further mentioned a few black athletes, who were better than Luka. This is what her tweet said.

This Twitter user even got called out by Orlando Magic guard, Cole Anthony.

Love him or hate him, Luka Doncic is a generational talent who had a phenomenal 2020-2021 campaign and is more than deserving to be one of the cover athletes of the game.
