‘Shaqtin’ A Fool Mastermind’ Shaquille O’Neal Exposes LeBron James And Luka Doncic’s 4-5 Step Uncalled Travels
Shaquille O’Neal‘s social media presence is right up there with his size and personality. The former NBA superstar uses Instagram stories regularly to post anything and everything related to the game he loves. As the engine behind Shaqtin’ a Fool, he recently posted a video of NBA players like LeBron James and Luka Doncic getting away with the most egregious traveling violations during games.
Shaqtin’ a Fool is a popular segment on the hit NBA show ‘NBA on TNT‘. It was first introduced in 2011-12 and has become a regular feature ever since. The segment is hosted by Shaq, where he announces the most hilarious, uncommon, or non-basketball-like NBA plays of the week. The segment has become so famous that we often see players mentioning it while committing a mistake during the game.
Shaquille O’Neal posts video of NBA players traveling
Traveling violations had become an epidemic in the NBA, with the referees refusing to blow the whistle. However, in the recently concluded 2023 season, we saw the league clamp down on the violations. Still, many NBA players have gotten away with it. The Big Aristotle took to his Instagram story to post a video of players traveling during the game without being handed a violation. Take a look at the Instagram post by ‘GameFaceSports‘ to see what he posted, along with tragicpatek’s tweet.

The video includes the likes of LeBron James, Luka Doncic, James Harden, and Bradley Beal. Players were seen taking more than four to five steps, while the referees seemed to completely ignore it. Some of the missed violations gave a clear advantage to the offensive team and the opposition was justifiably left dumbfounded. However, it isn’t just players today that get away with violations.
Shaquille O’Neal has gotten away with violations
Despite Shaq running the Shaqtin’ a Fool show and posting stories of players committing violations, the big man himself wasn’t averse to getting away with similar calls. In his 19 seasons in the NBA, he has found himself escaping the punishment on multiple occasions.
On one such occasion, Shaq was seen shifting his pivot foot with the ball in hand. With the defense on him and nowhere to go, he switched his pivot foot and proceeded to shoot the ball. Clearly a traveling violation, the move was ignored by the referees as they turned a blind eye towards it.
