“Shaquille O’Neal, what kind of roar is this?”: Dwyane Wade hilariously trolls Lakers legend for his strange-sounding snores on Inside the NBA sets
Shaquille O’Neal was caught sleeping on the Inside the NBA sets by D-Wade yesterday. The Heat legend then had some fun at Shaq’s expense.
Shaquille O’Neal is usually joined by D-Wade and Candace Parker on the TNT sets on Tuesdays. Shaq is fast being phased out by these newcomers to the pre-game and post-game formalities.
Wade and Parker may not have comic moments like Shaq, but they’re real analysts of the game. They also have much more admiration for the modern game, and a better understanding, than the Lakers legend. Candace and D-Wade took Shaq’s case yesterday when they talked about various defensive coverages and switching schemes.
In addition to snagging Shaq’s analyst hat, D-Wade is also starting to take over his comedian role. Or so it seems, judging from his antics on the studio last night.

Before shooting began on the sets, it seems that Shaq was using the time off in the best possible fashion – getting some shuteye. The Lakers legend suffers from sleep apnea – a condition in which you often snore indiscriminately as you sleep.
Evidently, he has consulted doctors for this, who gave him a contraption to stifle the sounds of his snores. But it doesn’t seem to be working all that well, judging from the footage we have courtesy of D-Wade.

You can clearly hear Shaq snoring through what looked like a sleeping device. It is adding some hilarious audio effects to the whole scenario, which is about as funny as it can get already.
We are waiting for the next edition of Inside with Chuck, Kenny, and Ernie on so we can see their reactions to this monstrosity of a snore too. They’ll already have some jokes lined up as we speak.
