Shedeur Sanders 'Beat' LeBron James' Son to Beats by Dre NIL Deal, Adding to His $5,100,000 Value

Back in September 2021, NFL legend Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur signed an NIL deal with the Beats By Dre brand. Bronny James, who currently plays for the USC Trojans, was announced as the brand’s first high-school signing back in October 2022, according to Forbes. Beating him out by almost a year, the $5.1 million worth quarterback, who previously played for Jackson State, is in some illustrious company.

Both the sons of bonafide sports legends, LeBron James will be particularly proud of how Bronny has progressed in recent months. Apart from success on the court leading to the USC Trojans, Bronny already has an endorsement deal with the brand that his father signed for back in 2008.

The rightful heir to the King, Bronny appears to have become used to the attention that has been put on him right from the start of his fledging career.

Shedeur Sanders had already signed with Beats long before Bronny James did

LeBron will undoubtedly be proud of Bronny on the court. He is expected to make a stunningly quick return to basketball after suffering a cardiac arrest back in August.

A star for the famous USC Trojans, Bronny is set to join the NBA alongside his father and is eligible for the draft starting in 2024. The deal that he signed with Beats by Dre means that he is ahead of his father, at least in one area.

While LeBron signed with the same brand in 2008, Bronny signed the NIL deal despite still being in high school back in October 2022. While he became the company’s first high-school signing, Shedeur Sanders, son of 2-time Super Bowl champion Deion, signed for the company back in 2022. The 21-year-old beat out Bronny by a year, according to Fox Business.

However, Bronny is still only 18 and signed for the company as a 17-year-old, which is a unique achievement in itself. Sanders, who is also expected to follow in his father’s footsteps and join the NFL, is currently being coached by his father and has also had to contend with a lot of attention on his progress.

Bronny, of course, received support from all corners of the NBA world after suffering a cardiac arrest during a workout last month. He is expected to make a return in the very near future and will be hoping to get his career back on track quickly.

Shedeur Sanders NIL valuation is 2nd only to Bronny James

The attention Bronny James receives due to his father means that he is the highest-valued NIL collegiate or high-school player. With his NIL valued at a whopping $5.9 million, Bronny is leading a list of some elite names.

This includes Shedeur Sanders as well, who has also benefitted due to his father’s profile. With a valuation of $4.5 million, Shedeur is 2nd on the overall list.

He is also the highest-valued NFL prospect by some distance and is expected to reach the kind of heights his father did. Bronny, on the other hand, is expected by many to one day play alongside his father in the NBA, which will be a huge achievement for both him and LeBron James.
