"Stephen A Smith is on a lot of s**t": NBA fans ridicule the ESPN analyst for suggesting the Suns trade Devin Booker for Lakers' Kyle Kuzma

NBA fans ridicule ESPN analyst Stephen A Smith for suggesting a trade revolving around Lakers’ Kyle Kuzma and Suns’ Devin Booker.

ESPN analyst Stephen A Smith is one of the best in the business. Starting his career as an analyst back in 2003, it is safe to say that Smith is one of the most experienced and respected analysts out there. However, even the best of the bests tend to make mistakes.

On the recent episode of ESPN’s “First Take”, Stephen A suggested a rather bizarre trade idea. The 53-year-old analyst proposed a trade revolving around Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker and Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma along with “a multitude of players and even a pick”. SAS further added:

“I love Kyle Kuzma. And I want him to stay a Laker. But we talking basketball here, and if I could package Kuzma, with a multitude of players and even a pick. Then I can get myself, Devin Booker… to join Anthony Davis and LeBron James. Will I do that? Hell yes!”

NBA Twitter ridiculed Stephen A Smith for his wild trade idea

Sure, Kyle Kuzma is a decent player. The 6-foot-10 Laker did average a solid 12.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game and stepped up when LAL were without the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

However, there is absolutely no way that Kuz is on the same level as All-Star Devin Booker. Booker has proven himself to be one of the best players in the league and surely will be one of the future faces of the league. There is a very slim to none chance that Phoenix will trade away one of the best shooting guards in the NBA.
