The Golden State Warriors visited the White House earlier today. Stephen Curry and the gang seemed to have quite a bit of fun meeting with President Biden and Vice President Harris. To start the day off, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre invited Steve Kerr and Steph for the daily press briefing.

There, Steph thanked the President for helping get Brittney Griner home safely. Steve Kerr talked about gun violence prevention and how he attended a round-table conference with Klay Thompson and Moses Moody.

Draymond Green believes Stephen Curry can run for President
During the Warriors’ visit to the White House, Stephen Curry had to make multiple speeches. There was the one at the daily briefing, and then the one in front of the President, Vice President, and everyone else.

Curry was a natural at it, and made it seem very effortless.
During the visit, Draymond Green was asked how Steph’s behavior the entire day was presidential. Green laughed and said,
“I think Steph could someday run for president of the United States. Smart, put together, doesn’t really make mistakes. Why not?”

When asked about himself as President, Green replied,
“I don’t know if anyone in this country want me as President. Secretary of Defense though!”
It was a good visit for the Dubs, and a nice reminder of the Championship they won in June.
Can the Warriors seal the gaps to finish the season?
As of now, the Warriors’ ship has a lot of huge, gaping holes. With 38 games left on their schedule, the Warriors do not have a lot of time to solve their problems before playoffs. However, doing so is easier said than done. Their road record stays abysmal at 5-17, and it doesn’t help that they’re visiting Boston and Cleveland next.
Stephen Curry would have to lead the charge and the coaching staff has to start trying to patch those holes in the ship. There isn’t much time left, but a lot to do.
